2007 ChippewaFalls FFA Alumni Tractor Pull

Weigh in beginning at 9:00am; pull starts at 11:30am

General Rules That Govern ALL Participants!

***Safety first, always act safely! Drive slow, look around, drive like your mother and father are watching you!***

  1. Anyone caught tampering with a tractor other than his or her own will be disqualified from pulling.
  2. Tractors must be 1959 or older; serial numbers must be in the correct place.
  3. Engine speed must be controlled by throttle lever only. No strings or wire allowed. No shifting or use of a torque.
  4. Anyone using profanity toward tract officials will be disqualified and will forfeit their pull.
  5. Where weights or parts fall off of the tractor is the measurement of the pull.
  6. No re-pull for the first driver in each class, registration determines your pulling order
  7. All tractors will be inspected and weighed in to meet the above rules
  8. A driver can stop to adjust weight within the first 50 feet, if they restart under there own power.
  9. Anyone refusing to weigh a tractor before pulling or refusing to re-weigh after pulling will be disqualified.
  10. All engines to be naturally aspirated
  11. No locked or welded rear ends.
  12. Maximum drawbar height is 20” at point of hook; minimum of 18” from center of rear axel to hook point. Must have rigid drawbar; Fast hitches must be locked.
  13. Each tractor is limited to one driver per class and two hooks per tractor. Semi-stock can hook two weight classes plus one open stock class.
  14. There WILL be a driver’s meeting before the pull begins.
  15. Must stay between the lines or you will be disqualified.
  16. ANY driver judged to be inebriated will be disqualified.
  17. In case of a tie (w/in 2”), the tractor’s involved will re-pull.
  18. Track Official’s decisions are FINAL!!!!!
  19. Drivers must be at least 14 years old, any driver between the ages of 14-18years must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter tractor pull and they also must present a tractor safety certificate.

Additional Rules Governing Antique Classes

Virgin Stock

Must have stock block, head, ignition, and wheels; Max is 10% over stock RPM; must have working governor, original engine and chassis parts; factory wheel weights or factory front weights (front or back allowed); must pull in first or second gear only!!! MAX. 3mph

Virgin stock must maintain same rules in semi stock classes

Semi Stock

Must have original engine and chassis parts, working governor, LP head must run LP, 10% over stock RPM allowed, points and condenser can be replaced by exciter ignition. Must pull in first or second gear OR 4mph. No dry blocks, electric ignition, or MSD/after market ignition.

Open Class

Stock interchange of parts is allowed; homemade intake and header are also allowed. NO homemade heads!!! Fenders are strongly recommended. Original crank must fit into block. NO turbo, nitrous oxide, RPM limit, changing direction of draft, or alcohol.

***No M’s, 88’s, 44’s and like tractors below 4500# in semi and open***

Additional Rules Governing Farm Class

Farm Stock MUST BE FARM STOCK!!!

No pressed rims allowed, No aluminum parts, Must have PTO and working hydraulics, Factory narrow or wide front end, No cut tires, and 10% over stock HP.

Additional Rules Governing Hot Farm

Stock block and chassis, tractors do not need power shifts and hydraulic systems, tractors allowed only one injection pump. Tractors can have any size injection pump up to and including a P series Bosch pump. Intercoolers will be allowed. Any type fuel induction allowed on gas tractors, gas only can be used as a fuel. Only one fuel allowed, multiple carbs allowed. Only ONE turbo allowed, intake and exhaust sides of turbo no larger than 3”.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to enter for any purpose any RESTRICTED AREA (herein defined as including but not limited to the track, pit areas, infield, approach area, shut down area, and all walkways, concessions and other areas appurtenant to any area where any activity related to the event shall take place), or being permitted to compete, officiate, observe, work for, or for any purpose participate in any way in this Tractor/Truck Pull on this date, the undersigned, for himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, acknowledges, agrees and represents that he has, or will immediately upon entering any of such restricted areas, and will continuously thereafter, inspect such restricted areas and all portions thereof which he enters and with which he comes in contact, and he does further warrant that his entry upon such restricted area or areas and his participation, if any, in the event constitutes an acknowledgement that he has inspected such restricted area and that he finds and accepts the same as being safe and reasonably suited for the purposes of his use, and he further agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he is in or about restricted areas and he feels anything to be unsafe, he will immediately advise the officials of such and will leave the restricted areas:

1. HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the promoter, eliminator operator, eliminator owners, participants, track operator, track owner, officials, tractor owners, truck owners, drivers, pit crews, and persons in any restricted area, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of premises used to conduct the event and each of them, their officers and employees, all for the purposes herein referred to as “releasees”, from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property resulting in death of the undersigned, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned is in or upon the restricted area, and/or, competing, officiating in, observing, working for, or for any purpose participating in the event;

2. HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the releases and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to the presence of the undersigned in or upon the restricted area or in any way competing, officiating, observing, or working for, or for any purpose participating in the event and whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.

3. HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of releases or otherwise while in or upon the restricted area and/or while competing, officiating, observing, or working for or for any purpose participating in the event.

4. THE UNDERSIGNED expressly acknowledges and agrees that the activities of the event are very dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. Each of the undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNS THE RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, and further agrees that no oral representations, statements or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.
