Type REACT crash cushion must be installed where shown.

The above prices will be firm for orders placed within 30 days of Contract award, and provided delivery is accepted within 90 days after the order is placed.
6. Use for Type REACT 9SCBS crash cushion.
The price quoted for Type REACT 9SCBS crash cushion includes the concrete anchorage devices, but does not include the concrete anchor slab or the W-Beam connection to the barrier.
7. Use for Type REACT 9CBB crash cushion.
The price quoted for Type REACT 9CBB crash cushion includes the concrete anchorage devices, but does not include the concrete anchor slab or the concrete backup block.
8. Use for Type REACT 62B060 crash cushion.
The price quoted for Type REACT 62B060 crash cushion includes the self-contained backup and concrete anchorage devices, but does not include the concrete anchor slab.

Install the crash cushion under the manufacturer's instructions.

Concrete anchorage devices used for attaching the crash cushion to the base slab must be limited to those that have been provided by the manufacturer.
11. Delete "and backup block" if crash cushion (REACT 9CBB) is not used.
The concrete anchor slab and backup block must comply with sections 51 and 52.
12. Use in non-freeze-thaw area. Delete par. 13. Delete "and backup block" if Type REACT 9CBB crash cushion is not used.
The concrete anchor slab and backup block must be constructed of concrete containing not less than 590 pounds of cementitious material per cubic yard.
13. Use in freeze-thaw area. Delete par. 12. Delete "and backup block" if Type REACT 9CBB crash cushion is not used.
The concrete anchor slab and backup block must be constructed of concrete containing not less than 674 pounds of cementitious material per cubic yard and incorporating an air-entraining admixture.

For Type REACT 9SCBS crash cushion, W-Beam connections to the barrier must comply with section 83-1. The high strength bolts and nuts for W-Beam connections to the barrier must comply with ASTM A 325/A 325M and A 563/A 563M.

Submit a copy of the manufacturer's plan and parts list, for each model installed, as an informational submittal.

Submit a certificate of compliance for each model of Type REACT crash cushion.
17. Edit for crash cushion "(REACT 9SCBS)" or "(REACT 62B060)." Delete if concrete anchor slab is existing or included in a separate concrete item.
