USA & WYOMING SWIMMING APPLICATION FOR
SWIM MEET SANCTION CHECKLIST
Updated and in effect 1/1/2015
Prior to submitting your USA Swimming Meet Application (s) and related paperwork, please refer to the following checklist carefully.
_____ Your club is currently registered with USA Swimming and your club’s registration period is valid through the meet dates.
_____ Your club has procured a USA Swimming Referee and Administrative Official who will work your meet and their registrations are valid through the meet dates.
_____ You must use the Wyoming Swimming Meet Announcement Template. The meet template must be used in the order written to expedite the sanction process. Do not change the wording. It is taken directly from the USA Rule Book Article 202.2.9. Insert ONLY the correct information as needed and DELETE that which does not pertain to your facility or meet.
You may list any other information that pertains to your particular meet or facility such as: No Glass, No Smoking, Concessions available, sponsors, recommended hotels etc. below the required portion of the template.
____ Prepare and submit your list of events, selected from the recognized events found in the USA Swimming Rule Book Article 102.1.2 for all Age Group Meets and 101.2.1 for all Senior Meets.
_____ Complete the USA & Wyoming Swimming Application for Sanction.
Mail completed “USA Swimming Application for Sanction,” the completed Wyoming Swimming Meet template with your meet’s list of events and check in the amount of $50.00 for open or invitational swim meet, or $25.00 for league/dual/ or triangular to:

Each host team is required to mail, email or fax the roster of swimmers competing in your meet AT LEAST THREE DAYS PRIOR to the event. Any club entering a swimmer who is not properly registered with USA swimming may be fined $100.00 per swimmer charged to the club. THIS FINE WILL BE ENFORCED.
