Steps to Save Files for Submission for Contest Entry (See Video)
1. For all PDFs. Save the contest entry page(s) as a PDF. Save the PDF as the category number, medium (newspaper or magazine), the category name, and the publication name.

2. Complete the entry form: Fill out a blank entry form and scan the form to PDF. Save the form as a PDF. Save the PDF as the category number, medium (newspaper or magazine), the category name, the publication name, and entry form.

3. Combine the student entry and completed entry form as one PDF. Use Acrobat 9, X or 11.

4. Save your combined file as a PDF. Save the PDF as the category number, medium (newspaper or magazine), the category name, the publication name, and entry.

5. Save all entries in one folder under publication name and medium.

6. Complete the Contest Entry Summary Sheet and save as a PDF. Save the PDF as the medium (newspaper or magazine), the publication name, and Summary.

7. When you receive your Google Drive Folder link from the contest coordinator, drag your contest folder to the Google Drive Folder. The contest coordinator will send an email when your entries are received.
Notes:
1) PDFs: For pages with multiple stories, please crop the PDF so only the story being submitted for the category is visible. If the story jumps to a second page, combine the story as one PDF for entry.
2) Summary Sheet: Please be sure to sign the summary sheet. You may sign the summary sheet electronically or hand sign and scan the summary sheet.
3) Contest Checks: An entry fee of $50 in the form of a check payable to FCSAA must be mailed and postmarked by the contest entry due date.
