Operations Report

This report looks at the labor necessary for on-site trash handling at a 4-story650 unit apartment community. The community has 4 trash chutes and 16 resident trash rooms. This community will have (2) 20 yard compactors which was determined during the design phase of the project. (see waste volume analysis) Recycling will be handled by 3-yard recycling bins, compactors will not be used for recycling.
Trash labor handling is broken into (2) areas- towing trash bins to the compactors and cleanliness of the designated trash areas. The designated trash areasare 4 trash rooms and 16 resident trash rooms.

The waste handling efforts are highlighted in blue. Labor calculations are based on towing distances, room sizes, and resident satisfaction.
