POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS AND SUPPORT

COORDINATOR

General Statement of Job:Dual responsibility to: 1) ensure fiscal accountability through budget management, accurate reporting to comply with federal requirements, develop/design, implement, and support fidelity index of external federal evaluator needs, as well as management, coordination and analysis of district-wide student and teacher data to track progress towards COMPASS goals as stated in the Grant; 2) District-wide Coordinator of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS)

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years experience managing budgets, analyzing/reporting data, and/or facilitating programs with relevant experience in public education. Experience training andimplementing PBIS at the district and school level preferred. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Able to combine data from various sources to create reports, tables, and charts; and locate resources to fulfill data requests in a timely manner. Knowledge of North Carolina data resources, accounting principles, and federal regulations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain efficient and accurate budget and manage accounting records
  • Help to create, update, analyze & check fidelity ofCOMPASS logic model(s) and deployment plan(s).
  • Serve as the central person for COMPASSevaluation data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver data reports and training on data related to COMPASS goals and objectives
  • Work with COMPASS structures to determine and fulfill data needs.
  • Develop and implement district-level deployment plan for Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) to support the deployment of RTI.
  • Manage, coordinate, and analyze student and teacher data (academic, behavioral, and any other relevant data) regarding the various interventions being implemented.
  • Develop, deliver, and attend professional development sessions on Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) as it aligns to RTI
  • Assess the fidelity of PBIS in schools and provide sustainability support.
  • Collect, monitor and analyze monthly discipline SWOT assessments to inform RTI and PBIS.
  • Serve as main AIMSweb software administrator: maintaining and monitoring user accounts and ensuring student data is entered appropriately..
  • Assist in the compilation, assembly, and distribution of resources and intervention materials for RtI pilot schools.
  • Administer AIMSweb benchmark and associated diagnostic assessments at all RtI pilot schools.
  • Maintain and manage accurate documentation ofall aspects of COMPASS funds and accounts to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of the annual Innovation Showcase.
  • Fulfill any other COMPASS duties as assigned by the Project Director.
