Speak the Word
Today I shall have joy because I shall speak words that bring life to me and others. The joy of the Lord is the strength of my life, so I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Prov. 15:23, Prov. 25:11, Neh. 8:10, Phil. 4:13)

Letter to the Congregation
DEAR CHURCH FAMILY
Thank you to all who came to the Communion Service on Tuesday night. It was wonderful to share together in the presence of God. I felt the power of the prayers, support and love. To all who contributed to the encouragement book – a huge thank you. It is beautiful. And to all those who will call to check on me, I am so thankful. As I said the other night, encouragement is to give courage, and that is what you are doing to me through all your support. Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
The chemo therapy will be four doses given intravenously every three weeks.... so hopefully it will be all over by Christmas. The plan is to start the radio therapy in early February. This will consist of daily trips to Townsville General Hospital for four weeks. But getting to know the Medical System... anything can change!!!
The Scripture I want to leave with you as we face the days ahead is “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 I pray that whatever you face today, you will take the truth of this Scripture with you.
May God continue to bless you in abundance,
Much love Anne

Security
WE ALL MUST BE DILIGENT
DOORS UNLOCKED
THE CHURCH WAS BROKEN INTO
Security is unfortunately an important issue. Those who are entrusted with locking up the church and everyone who uses the facilities must insure all windows and doors are locked. The last person out MUST check all the doors by giving them a ‘pull’. Don’t assume. They may look locked and not be locked.
Unlocked doors have been happening more often. Those who broke in came in by removing louvers, however, it was discovered later that one of the glass doors was unlocked, they could have ‘walked in’. Thankfully the only casualty of the break-in was minor breakage to the office door that was kicked in. Nothing was taken.
Remember to also turn off air conditioners and fans. Thanks!!
