You will be working as part of an international team focused on System, Solution and Performance tests of the F5 BIG-IP product line. Our engineers test and automate technology that many top companies deploy across the globe in a variety of industries, on infrastructure that is vital to their operational function.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Test automation development (SKU core heuristics, regression) in Python
· Executing automated SKU tests, obsoleting tests for cancelled SKUs
· Assisting other engineers in writing test plans and test cases for new product licensing functionality
· Running licensing tests
· Automating tests for requirements
· Building defect regression automation
· Creating test documentation
· Other test engineer activities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering or related technical field
· Intermediate Python knowledge
· Intermediate networking knowledge is a big plus
· Pro-active, well organized, able to prioritize tasks, good team player
· Dependable and responsible
· Good English -written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment:
· Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
· Duties require the ability to utilize a computer keyboard, communicate via video conference, telephone, IM and read printed material
· Working in an environment where work hours are scheduled to Product Development needs. This role may be required to work outside of core business hours including early morning, late evening, overnight, weekends and/or holidays when needed
