Yechiel Mikhel Rapaport (Jachil-Mehel Rappoport) opened the meeting and he suggested election of Dr. Meir Litvak (Meier Litwak) as meeting chair, which has been unanimously accepted. Dr. Litvak invited Ayzik Kop (Izak Kop) to perform duties of the meeting’s secretary.

The Financial Report for year 1929 was also delivered by Yechiel Mikhel Rapaport (Jachil-Mehel Rappoport) and he thanked the retired Management Committee for their outstanding work during the past year.

During the discussion period, the speakers: Yechiel-Mikhel Rapoport (Jachil-Mejchel Rappoport), Dr.Meir Litvak (Mejer Litwak), Moshe Melamed (Mojżesz Melamed), Markus Kop (Markus Kop)and Mane Dobromil (Munia Dobromil), all Kremenets residents, emphasized the very positive activities of the retired Association’s Management Committee, and invited all members to assist the newly elected Management in their work.

The meeting started at 6:30 pm and was closed at 9 pm. 120 members were present and the meeting working language was Yiddish.

  1. The report was destined to go to the Police, as can be seen in page 8b. The discussions, after all, were conducted in Yiddish as was stated in the report. The Minutes of Meetings was renamed for the convenience of the policing “surveyors” of the Jewish community.
  2. Ber (Berel) Kremenczycki’s family name is spelled in other documents as Kremenczugski, which appears to be the correct spelling as it can be seen in page 9 signed personally by him.
  3. The Skórnik family name is pronounced as Skurnik due to the appearance of a diacritic mark on top of the letter “o”.

Below is an extract from a report of a meeting of the Association for the Religious Education of Orphans and Poor Jewish Children “CHINUCH YELADIM” inKremenetsheld on 16 February 1930 in the Synagogue at 57 Szeroka Street. Following the general meeting on 16 February the management of the Association held a meeting on 23 February to elect the Executive Committee. Rabbi Mr. Rapaport was elected Chairman, Mr.Y. Blumenfeld, Vice-Chairman, Mr. B. Krementshugski (Kremenczugski) Secretary and Mr. Meir Fraktor, Treasurer.

Eighty members have attended a meeting held in the Old Synagogue at 57 Szeroka Street on February 16, 1930

3)Rabbi Rapoport delivered an education and economics report on the 1929 activities of the retired Management, emphasizing improvements compared to the previous years. Financial balance shows that the deficit for the year was zł 260.80 vs. previous year deficit of zł 1,097.80

5)Following acknowledgment of the good work of the retired Management, new Management Committee members have been elected:Rabbi Rapaport, Aharon Klurfayn, Shulim Krivin, Ber Krementshugski, Moshe Melamed, Duvid Vesman, Shlome Shkurnik, Matus Kop, Yitschak Kop, Ayzik Kutsher, Mordekhay Dobromiler, SimcheY.Blumenfeld, Shmeril Rishnivker and Meir Fraktor.

Elected Members of the Auditing Committee: Moshe Shnayder, MordekhaySudak and Yosef Vaserman.

On this, the meeting was closed.

Item 1. Simche Blumenfeld, the Association’s Vice-Chairman opened the meeting and he suggested election of Duvid Turchin (Dawid Turczyn) as the meeting’s chair and Moshe Frayer (Mojżesz Frajer) as the secretary, which has been unanimously accepted.

Item 2. Ber Krementshugski(Ber Kremenczugski) delivered a report on the general activities of the Association.

Item 3. Simche Blumenfeld presented a Financial Report for the years 1930 and 1931, which was unanimously accepted.

Item 4. Moshe Shnayder delivered a report on behalf of the Auditing Committee, which was also approved by the meeting.

Item 5. Berish Perelmuter (Bejrisz Perelmuter) was elected Association Chairman, the position of Vice Chairman and Treasurer remain unchanged from the previous year and Simche Blumenfeld will continue in the same position, Ber Krementshugski(Ber Kremenczugski) was elected the Secretary. The Auditing Committee elected members: Duvid Turchin, Moshe Shnayder and Aharon Klurfayn. All are Kremenets residents.

Elected Management Committee members:Mendel Bakimer, Yakov Goldberg (Jakob Goldberg), Moshe Melamed, Lipa Shteynvortsel (Lipa Sztejnworcel), Avraham Takser (Abram Takser), Ayzik Kutsher (Ajzyk Kuczer), Yosef Vaserman (Josif Waserman), Matus Kop. All are Kremenets residents.

Meeting duration from 6 pm to 7:30 pm was conducted in Yiddish with 68 members in attendance.
