THE EIGHTH WORKSHOP ON CYCLOSTATIONARY SYSTEMS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

February 8 – 11, 2015, Gródek nad Dunajcem, Poland.

Workshop focus:

“Cyclostationary models, incomplete data and heavy tails. Applications in signal modelling”.

Following already seven years of tradition of organizing meetings dedicated to cyclostationary models in Poland, we invite everyone interested to participate in our yearly event.

Our workshop will be organized in February 2015, the dates are February 8 through 11, 2015 (Sunday through Wednesday). Our tradition is to have keynote lectures given by prominent specialists in the area accompanied by contributed talks and/or poster sessions given by young researchers. We usually have a round-table meeting dedicated to specific topics. We also provide significant unstructured time for an informal interaction. Usually, the keynote lectures are held in the morning followed by contributed talks later before lunch.

We believe that there is something special about the place of our workshop: the conference center is located in the mountains, far from big cities, in the forest, close to the lake. Winter in February in Poland is usually very nice: snowy, not too cold but very picturesque. Accessing the conference center is easy: there will be a bus waiting for participants in Cracow. For further information, please contact

The following keynote lecturers have already confirmed their participation: Christiana Drake, University of California, Davis, USA; Harry Hurd, UNC Chapel Hill, USA; Antonio Napolitano, Naples, Italy; Dominique Dehay, Universite de Rennes, France; Jacek Leskow, Cracow University of Technology, Poland, Aldo Medina Garay, UNICAMP, Campinas, Brasil.

The 2015 workshop will be focused on cyclostationary models for complex data structures like incomplete data and data with heavy tails. As always, we welcome both theoretical research as well as decision-making algorithms and their applications in machine diagnostics, vibroacoustics and bioengineering. As in previous years, we plan to prepare a separate volume of post-conference papers to be published in Springer Verlag.

Workshop site is:

Costs: There is no registration fee. The local costs at the conference center is about 30 euros per day per person (lodging and meals). We expect to have a limited number of stipends to cover costs for junior researchers. For details, please contact the Organizing Committee.
