AP PSYCHOLOGY FOCUS PROJECT APPROVED READING LIST

Spring 2016

You may only choose a book from this approved list. Remember that you need to keep a quote journal using a composition journal only. You will need 15 quotes and reflections total for the book (laid out in journal as shown in class.)

Several books are in the SHS library for checkout, but you can also use your public library or buy the book used online. I have a limited number of books available for checkout as well.

Books are categorized by unit, so choose a unit that interests you overall, l as your research project will also need to be in this area as well.

When choosing a book:

  • Choose a book you will enjoy, not the shortest book on the list. Better to read 350 pages that you enjoy vs. 200 you struggle through.
  • # indicates that it is a book that the SHS Media Center has in their collection for you to check out.
  • Go to Amazon.com and search each book. Read the back cover and sometimes the best clue to what the book is about is to read the Table of Contents.
  • Books with a **** need parent approval (issues of drug use and abuse)
