Diocese of Camden
Food Drive 2016
As part of the Jubilee of Mercy, Pope Francis has called upon all of us to practice the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. The first corporal work of mercy is to Feed the Hungry. At this time of the year, many food pantries find themselves with empty shelves while the requests for food are still great. In response, the Diocese of Camden is organizing its third annual faithFULL Food Drive. On Sunday, March 6th, every parish and school in the diocese will be asked to bring food donations to area food banks. For more information, contact the parish office. Visit www.camdendiocese.org/faithfull.

Stewards Give First Fruit: “I have now brought you the first fruits of the products of the soil which you, O Lord, have given to me.”
(DEUTERONOMY 26:10)
This line from the Old Testament offers two challenges. First, do you give to God from your “first fruits”, the best that you have to offer, or do you give from what is leftover? Second, do you remember that everything you have has been given to you by God? As Stewards we ask God for a grateful and generous heart, every day.
