The Vice President reported to the President, served as a member of the President's executive council and had responsibility for a major division within the university, directing most of the nonacademic studentrelated functions. The division of Student Affairs has approximately 150 fulltime employees and 20 departments reporting through an Associate Vice President for Student Life/Dean of Students and an Assistant Vice President for Student Development. The Vice President has fiscal responsibilities for a budget in excess of $13 million.
