Blueprint Communities Initiative Has Begun For
Curwensville & Grampian Boroughs, Bloom, Penn & Pike Townships
Please Provide Input on Perceptions of Our Community
The municipalities above are invited to participate. More specifically, anyone who works, sleeps, eats, shops, worships, or owns a business or property should share their view about their town. This survey is one of the first steps in the process for the newly assembled Blueprint Communities teams working to improve their business climate and livability. Over the next several years these teams of civic leaders will be working to develop stronger local leadership, engage local residents and businesses in developing a clear vision and strategic plan for change and attract investments to build healthier, sustainable communities.
The purpose of this survey is to get a better idea of how people feel about common attributes that contribute to a "sense of place" and quality of life within our community. The questions include the following areas of focus: Comfort & Appearance, Economic Uses/Characteristics, Sociability/Community Attitude, Activities and Access/Linkages. As one of the first steps for the Pennsylvania Blueprint Communities revitalization initiative homework, each participating community is responsible for inviting the larger community to share their own thoughts on the current situation of their community.
This information will help guide the continuing efforts in the Blueprint Communities revitalization strategy of our community. Please take a few minutes to participate in this survey about our community, Perceptions of the Current Community Situation or www.padowntown.org/pdc-testing/perceptions. If you need assistance completing the survey, please contact, David Rose email or call (717) 712-2900.
The deadline for the survey is Friday, June 27th.
This community effort is in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
