OPERATIONS OFFICER AT ABERDEEN

An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Officer at Aberdeen

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to passengers, visitors and crew alike in accordance with company policy, airport protocol and our health and safety policy
  • Meeting, greeting and assisting passengers arriving for flights or disembarking from flights
  • Meeting and greeting chauffeurs who drop off or who are picking up passengers
  • Escorting vehicles airside to and from aircraft
  • Completing passport, customs, SB and immigration formalities where required in accordance with local airport restrictions and company policy
  • Raising and processing invoices and collecting appropriate payment from customers
  • Providing assistance to crews and liaising with ground handling services
  • Speaking confidently and clearly over the company radio frequency
  • Maintaining the passenger reception, lounge and staff kitchen in a clean and efficient fashion, providing complimentary refreshments and an excellent service to its users
  • Collection and delivery of newspapers, magazines, ice and paperwork to aircraft if requested
  • Stock control - the collection or delivery of stock, replenishing the stock where needed
  • Transporting passengers/crews to/from airport terminal, railway station and local hotels where requested
  • Being aware and ensuring that health and safety requirements are met
  • General tidiness of ramp vehicles
  • Any other reasonable tasks that your supervisor requests

  • Ability to communicate credibly across all levels solving issues that may arise for our customers
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Additional languages would be an advantage.
  • Driving license.
