) This Deed made this 15th day of February 1859 by
Lindsey Boggefs and Elias Dudley of the first part and we
the trustees of Giboah meeting house of the second part and our successors forever namely
John Amos Seth Thomas P Boggefs Elisha T Snider Henry Prickett and Wm
Dudley trustees. That the aforesaid Lindsey Boggefs & Elias Dudley hath this day sold unto
the said trustees and their sucefsors forever a certain lot or parcel of ground ten rods square
a part of Each of Surveys owned and purchased by Lindsey Bogefs Sr and Samuel Upton of
precious memory the farms or surveys that the Said Boggess and Upton purchased in 1810 or
1811 and settled on. The above named ten rod square lies on both sides of the line that divided
the two Surveys, that is the Survey of the aforesaid Lindsey Boggefs Sr Esq and that of the
aforesaid Upton Esq and now owned by Lindsey Boggefs Jr & Elias Dudley, and for and in
consideration of the sum of one Dollar to them paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.
The aforesaid Lindsey Boggefs Jr and Elias Dudley of the first part doth hereby sell and
Convey unto the Said trustees of the second part namely John Amos Seth Thomas Thomas P
Boggefs Elisha T Snider Henry Prickett and William Dudley and their succefsors forever
the above named ten rods of land for the special use of a grave yard or a place of special
deposit of the dead for the Boggefs and Upton familys according to an agreement of the
the aforesd Lindsey Boggefs Sr and Samuel Upton of Precious memory, the said ten rods of
land above mentioned and for the use of a burying ground lies on the point of a rise about
one hundred yards left of the county road that goes up the right hand branch of Dunkard
mill run to the left hand as you pafs up stream and directly on the line between the
two surveys situated in Marion County Virginia and Bounded as followeth to wit
Beginning at a stone a few feet south west of the old line between the two surveys.
Thence due north ten rods crofsing the old line to a stone. Thence due west ten rods to a
Stone. Thence ten rods due south to a stone crofsing the old line again. Thence ten rods
Due east to the place of the Beginning. To have and to hold the above described lot of land
With accefs thereto and there from forever and the above named Lindsey Bogefs
Jr and Elias Dudley do forever warrant the above described lot to the above named
trustees and their succefsors with accefs thereto & from the county road.

State of Virginia County of Marion to wit
I Benj F Hamilton Clerk of the county court of Marion County do certify that
Lindsey Boggefs & Elias Dudley whose names are signed to the writing hereunto annexed
bearing date in the 15th day of February in the year 1859 hath acknowledged the
same respectively before me in the clerks office of said court
