1. Do Dress As You Would for School: Comfortable Clothing and Sneakers

Dear Parent/Guardian:

We have planned a Fourth Grade trip to The Bronx Zoo, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 and invite all Fourth Graders to attend. The PTA has provided funds to reduce the price of this trip. The cost will be $24.00 per child. To pay for this trip, go to the Woodbrook Website main page, Then enter your child’s first & last name, and your child’s teacher’s name. Then, select your child’s grade and trip, then click on the paypal add to cart button to pay. You do not need a paypal account to pay, you can also pay by a credit card. DO NOT send money to the school to pay for the trip. Chaperones will pay separately, Not online. The cost for a chaperone is $27.00. If you are chosen as a chaperone, payment will be made in cash and sent to Woodbrook School. You may send in money on the day of the trip for the gift shop. Please place permission slip, liability form and health form in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher’s name and homeroom by Friday, May 1, 2015. We are requesting that you review the following if you are allowing your child to attend:

1.  Do dress as you would for school: comfortable clothing and sneakers.

2.  Please bring a snack for the bus ride home.

3.  Absolutely NO GUM will be allowed at any time during the day.

4.  You must remain seated on the bus at all times. Keep windows closed unless directed to do otherwise.

5.  No loud singing or loud talking will be permitted on the bus.

6.  Stay with your chaperone and listen to directions. Anyone needing to use the bathroom must be accompanied by a chaperone.

7.  The attached permission slip, liability form and medical form must be returned no later than Friday,

May 1, 2015.

8.  We will depart from school between 8:45 & 9:00AM SHARP! Please make arrangements for your child to arrive to school by 8:30AM in order to place them on the buses. Please meet in your own classroom upon arrival.

9. We anticipate our arrival back to school approximately 4:00PM.

10. Parent(s) must be at Woodbrook School ready to pick up their child by 4:00PM.

Students who regularly take the bus, will NOT take the bus on this day.

11. Children must bring disposable bag lunch and drink. No glass bottles. Children should bring a drawstring

backpack. They will be carrying their own lunch.

12. Any child may bring extra money to buy souvenirs, etc., but no more than $20.00.
