GENERAL
- Facebook – working well
- School website - the school have kindly uploaded Jan 2017 Agenda & Minutes (LI will request this monthly). Twitter / Facebook / Text alerts to parents would be useful to signpost them to the information. It was noted that school website is difficult to find via Google so regular reminders to parents needed – encourage them to save as a ‘favourite’. SH has taken copy of some out of date info that’s on the LPC page to review it for updating. It was also noted that not all parents want to use Twitter / Facebook to access information and may be missing out of some communications / messages
- Lollipop Patroller – SB advised : no further update since last month but footfall counts will be undertaken, then analysed to determine best place for patroller to be situated.
- Parking – the committee discussed various examples of poor parking witnessed recently. Further line painting and review of signage awaited.
- PVG Review – 5 current members have one, 9 don’t. Committee agreed that it would be beneficial for regular helpers at events to have one – SH will consider further
PARENT LIAISON MEETING - LG unable to attend meeting tomorrow, 7th February 7-9pm in the council buildings, SH will try to attend if able to.
AOB
- SH asked about Scottish Govt funding to raise attainment. MR advised that Head Teachers are in discussion about the best way to use this money. More information will follow.
Next meeting – Monday 6th March 2017 at 7pm, St Andrew’s Academy
