Oklahoma Classic Bronco RoundUp #19

Sept. 20th – 23rd , 2017 at Hot Springs Off Road Park

Hot Springs, Arkansas

Our History:

The Oklahoma Classic Bronco RoundUp is a once a year event for owners of 1966-77 Broncos. This RoundUp has grown from an afternoon in the park for 20 trucks, to a Wednesday through Saturday event - packed with food, fun and four-wheeling. ‘OCBR’ is traditionally held in late September; always before the start of deer season!

In 2016, the 18th Annual event registered 155 Broncos and including our awesome sponsors who attended, we had 23 states represented! Over 380 folks enjoyed the BBQ feast on Saturday night. Our coveted “Iron-Butt” award went to David and SandyLoewen from OREGON! 2327.81 miles….one way! David and Sandy were also the caretakers of the 50th Anniversary Quilt that traveled from East coast to West coast and finally back to the Mid-West before being raffled off to benefit Special Operations Warrior Foundation and we’re proud to say that all the tickets they had left – were purchased at OCBR!

Everyone who attends OCBR goes home feeling that they have a new family! OCBR ‘family’.

Why in Arkansas:

Why is OCBR held in Arkansas? We’ve been asked this question several hundred times….The Hot Springs Off Road Park in Hot Springs Arkansas offers something for everyone and every truck – from mild to wild! AND the folks who manage ‘The Park’ are some of THE BEST you will find! They are always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate the OCBR event (as well as many other events held there). Knox and Jennifer always greet folks with a smile, a handshake and an offer of help with anything needed.

In addition the city of Hot Springs offers numerous hotel/motel accommodations for those who don’t wish to camp, and Hot Springs has a vast history of – mineral baths, great food, shopping and other attractions for those who need a ‘break’ from the trails.

THE EVENT

We will open Check-In/Registration at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20th. This year’s t-shirts will be totally revamped! As always there will be surprises in the registration goodie bags. Pre-registration is not required but it certainly helps us with the count for meals and shirts. Pre-Registration also saves you a few dollars as well as getting you signed in and on the trails quicker! Guided trail runs begin Thursday morning and continue through Saturday. You are welcome to stay and wheel on your own on Sunday which is included in your event pass.

The Thursday night ‘TacoMania’ has been so enjoyed that Smokin’ In Style will be back with it for 2017. Our concessions provided by Randi & Jimmy Gatlin & their helpers turn out awesome breakfast & lunch in addition to specials like Fried Fish & Ribeyes on Friday night. Believe me, you won’t be hungry when they feed you! Good food and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones! It is always a good time, meeting other Bronco owners and swapping stories – bring your pictures and brag!

2017 again sees the return of the Cruise, Friday night. We gather for the group picture Saturday morning immediately following the Driver’s Meeting and before the trail runs…the park has the perfect ‘corral’ for all the Broncos! Saturday evening brings the traditional OCBR BBQ Dinner by Smokin In Style and then the raffle. The prizes are always awesome! The 2017 Sponsor page will soon be under construction and new sponsors will be added as confirmation and donations arrive so check back often. If you contact any of the sponsors throughout the year, please mention the Oklahoma Classic Bronco RoundUp and how much their support of our event is appreciated.

We invite you to join us this year for OCBR #19 - The ‘Events’ page will soon contain all the downloads you need: Cover letter with hotel info, Thursday’s Campfire Dinner Reservation, Registration Form, and No Tolerance Policy. As always, if you have questions, please contact us. Our email and phone number are on the Contact page.

If you are a vendor or would like to participate as a sponsor of OCBR, please contact us for sponsorship information. Thanks for visiting our website and we hope to see you in September!

Happy Trails!
