- Management: Tracking is predictive of key stage outcomes, accurately identifying children in need of additional support to reach national expectations. It includes information from across foundation subjects.
- Teaching: Assessment informs and shapes future teaching sequences by identifying gaps in learning, is flexible, is time-effective’ is age-appropriate and does not add unnecessarily to workload.

To develop the most effective tracking system towards end of Key Stage outcomes / Post SAT review
- Collate data from different known schools- compare with test outcomes for KS2 M/R/GPS> use to review effectiveness of our tests as a predictive tool (July’16)
- Review use of test based assessment> trial move towards KPIs for younger children only- ideally linked in time to stability at national level (July’16)
- Introduce use of Blue Square materials- staff meeting (SC led) (15.6.16)

KS1 and SEND children assessment is tracked more accurately. / Predictions from school tracker were very accurate at KS2 (except in nationally low reading results).Data from another school to be gained next term (not yet sent).
Online recording system in Pupil Asset now available to be customised to fit our system. (Done- for last 4 cycles).
