The Post
- Administration for management & curriculum team including work Experience, archiving (retrieval and support to support audit).
Main duties and responsibilities
The post holder will beexpected to:
- Provide Admin support for the Head of Faculty
- To support vocational staff and Personal Tutors to record and monitor attendance across all areas of provision.
- Liaising with the Head of Faculty, Team Leaders, Personal Tutors and Work Experience coordinator ensure that work experience evidence is recorded and monitored in order to provide evidence for external audit.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students and external stakeholders
- Process relevant documentation for the individuals on programme, including collating, verifying and updating information from a variety of sources.
- Carry out a range of administration functions including filing, photocopying, preparing letters, learner reports andmailshots etc.
- Support curriculum teams to input ProMonitor data in order to maximise learner progress and success.
- Comply with the strict quality processes associated with the administration of this area of work
- Work effectively to provide statistical data and reports to meet crucial deadlines.
- Collate, check and process Off Site Visit forms to ensure that they are held centrally.
- Attend Faculty team meetings and take accurate notes.
- To carry out all the above duties in the context of the practical application of the College’s equal opportunities policy and acting responsibly at all times in order to maintain the health and safety of yourself and others.

The post is offered on an Education Business Services (Stoke) Ltd contract.
Conditions of Appointment
All appointments are offered subject to a period of probationary service up to twelve months, during which time performance will be assessed. In addition, all appointments are subject to:
• medical review
• verification of relevant qualifications
• receipt of references considered suitable by the Company
• a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure check

Working Hours
The standard full time working week for all staff is 37 hours.

Salary Payments
Salary is paid by direct credit transfer to your bank or building society account in 12 equal parts. Payment is made on the 27th day of each month or the next working day thereafter.
Notice Periods
The amount of notice you are required to give and entitled to receive is 1 months. Fixed term appointments may be offered with a notice period of one week, depending upon the length of the fixed term. The notice period applicable during a probationary period is 1 week.
Location of Work
Your principal place of work will be at the site given in the job description of the post. However, you may be required to work on either temporary or indefinite basis, at any premises at which the Company may from time to time provide services.
