Scholarship

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for applying for the Wolcott Historical Society’s History/Social Studies Scholarship. This year the Society will be giving one $500.00 scholarship. The Historical Society is located on Nichols Road at the Old Stone School. We are proud to be sponsoring a scholarship program designed to help a worthy student pursue their college education. This award is open to students who are Wolcott residents and are seeking a career in history or social studies, but not limited to that area of study.

Please return the following items to your high school guidance counselor by our stated deadline of Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

  1. The completed application for the Wolcott Historical Society scholarship.
  1. A copy of the guidance counselor’s recommendation.

3. A completed essay on: “Why we should preserve the history of our town.”

  1. The students receiving this award shall be notified at the Awards Ceremony at Wolcott High School, but monies will not be disbursed until completion of freshman year.

Incomplete applications cannot be processed.
