Responsibilities:
Ø Following ASAP methodology- Developing the project plan, blueprinting the requirements document, statement of works for the different sources, info provider manual, data modeling and design, realizing the BW configuration, extracting data and transporting to various environments and final preparation of performing go-live check.
Ø This is basically an Implementation project, which involves Modeling, Extraction of data from different source systems like SAP ECC & Flat file structure & Reporting.

Responsibilities:
Ø Worked extensively on administration workbench and Managed and Monitored data loads with full update and Delta mechanism.
Ø Data extracted from R/3 and Flat Files using LO-Cockpit Extractors from various data sources. Uploaded master and transactional data from flat files and R/3 Source system.
Ø Used multiple layers of ODS to stage the data before transferring the ODS contents to the Info Cube. ODS reporting to give details of deliveries, sales budget, sales forecast, order situation and inventories.
Ø Designed and executed Test Cases, Test Scripts for Unit, System, UAT and performance of various BW extracts (R/3, Flat Files).
Ø Analyzed business & functional information needs, business processes by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs
Ø Created process-chains for data load, delete PSA data, Rollup & Compress cube, and scheduled them at off-peak hours to reduce the system.

Ø Monitoring of Process chains and analyzing the reasons for frequent failures of Extractions.
Ø Maintaining Work History for all the tickets until it is closed down.
Ø Maintaining Reconciliation’s to verify the data in SAP R3 and SAP BW is same.
Ø Data loading was monitored and the failed data packets were analyzed and if possible manually edited in PSA (mostly for invalid characters) and re-loaded to ODS.
