Apneumoniavaccineisrecommendedforpersons65yearsofageandolder.Youngerpatientswithdiseasessuchasasthma,COPD,diabetes,heartdiseaseandotherchronicdiseasesarerecommendedtohavethepneumoniavaccine.Speakwithyourphysiciantoseeifthisvaccinationisrecommendedforyou.
■BloodPressureControl
Abloodpressureoflessthan140/90isrecommendedforadults.Hypertension(bloodpressureabovenormalranges)increasesaperson’sriskforstroke,heartdisease,vasculardiseaseandkidneydisease.Seeyourphysiciantoevaluateyourbloodpressureandtodevelopaplantoassistyouinmaintaininghealthylevels.
