Elizabeth Kincaid is the author of "Paint Watercolors That Dance With Light" published by North Light Press in 2004, and in it’s second printing as a paperback.

Elizabeth earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Washington and worked for a number of years in that field. She was graphic designer for SouthSeattleCommunity College and did freelance illustration. She has taught watercolor classes and workshops privately in her home studio, now in Kirkland, as well as at the Santa Cruz Art League, in Langley, WA, Media, PA, Tulare, CA, Victoria, BC, and Spokane, WA, Hawaii, Austin, Texas, and Miami, Florida. She has giving demos in the Seattle area, including at both Daniel Smith stores. She has taught watercolor at the KirklandArtsCenter. Elizabeth has served as juror for shows in Pennsylvania, Florida, California and Washington. She is a member and past President of Women Painters of Washington and a signature member and past treasurer of the Philadelphia Water Color Club.

Kincaid has recently moved back to the Northwest after living for five years in Pennsylvania and Maryland and ten years in Soquel, California. She has set up a studio and classroom in her new home in Kirkland. She paints a variety of subject matter in watercolor, including flowers, birds, animals, and landscapes. In addition to watercolor, Elizabeth works in colored pencil and Aquatint etching. Her etchings are represented nationwide by Island International Artists.
