Personal Awareness (C1) / Demonstrates introspection by skillfully articulating how personal experiences shape the past and/or the present. Participates in critical self-analysis and can place him/herself in context within a given community accurately.
Political Awareness (C1) / Analyzes and describes the changing political environment within a geographic region throughout any given time period and can deduce some meaningful causal relationships and/or provide evidence of critical thought concerning possible political motivations.
Cultural Awareness (C1) / Articulates a clear understanding of various changing cultural climates across geographic regions while demonstrating a responsible engagement with cultural issues.
Economic Awareness (C1) / Compiles a thorough list of economic models and articulates advantages and disadvantages associated with those models while acknowledging the variables of context that can affect the models.
Social Experiences (C1) / Engages in meaningful discussions regarding interpersonal relationships, demonstrating thoughtful consideration of social context. Articulates many paradigmatic examples of an evolving social context within a defined geographical and/or temporal framework.
Methodologies / Data Collection (C2) / Compiles a thorough taxonomy of the methodologies involved in evaluating causal arguments and demonstrates the ability to apply many of those methodologies appropriately through effective and efficient data collection using the necessary technology when appropriate.
Data Analysis (C2) / Demonstrates ability to critically evaluate data sets in various formats by articulating specific causal arguments that consider the means of data collection.
Interpretation (C1/C2) / Synthesizes cultural, social, political, economic, and personal context with the data itself to form a meaningful, complex, and compelling case.
