Part-time Insurance Eligible Employee ICF-IID

Welcome to DRCC. I am pleased to offer you the position of Part-time Program Assistant. Your start date will be , beginning hourly rate of pay is $, and scheduled hours are per week. Since you have been hired for 30 hours/per week you are considered a Part-time Insurance Eligible Employee. I will notify Lara Goebel, she will prepare a health insurance offer for you to review. You may accept or decline the offer of insurance. Detailed information on the cost of insurance will be included as well. Your scheduled hours may fluctuate due to the needs of the clients and overall needs of the program.

If you have been hired to work in an ICF-IID program, you are required to have a two-step Mantoux test; one prior to working, another one to three weeks after hire. Mantoux tests are provided by the St. Louis County Health Department (325 W. 1st Street, Suite 300 - 725-5210). If you work for a Range ICF-IID call 749-0600 (307 1st Street South, Virginia). I will provide you with scheduled times for the testing. Please remember that you must call to schedule the test and return as they indicate to have the results read. If you should choose to see another physician, DRCC will only reimburse you up to $12.00. Charges incurred due to missing a scheduled appointment, or not returning for the reading of the Mantoux that requires additional testing, are your responsibility. You may be instructed to utilize Essentia Health for the Mantoux test if the Health Department’s scheduled testing times conflict with your start date.

The first six months of employment are probationary. I will provide you with a written performance appraisal at the end of the six months. A BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) background study has been submitted. In the event your criminal background study does not clear, the offer of employment is rescinded. If your driver’s record exceeds the number of points allowed for violations, this offer of employment may also be rescinded if our insurance carrier will not provide you an exception.

As an employee, you are expected to follow all DRCC Policies and Procedures. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action that may result in termination of your employment.
