Getting Started
About IBM Track and Trace
The IBM Track and Trace tool provides shipment status information, as well as detailed information about a shipment.
Screen Navigation
Working with IBM Track and Trace
Search by Bill of Lading
- Enter a complete BOL number in the Bill of Lading field and select Searchor press Enter.
The Shipment screen opens with all the orders on the specified BOL, as well as Ship From and Ship To information.
Order Details
Drill down to view details about a specific order by selecting an order number to view all of the status activity for that order, as well as item details.
Search by Order Number
- Enter a complete order number in the Order field and select Searchor press Enter.
The Shipment window opens with all shipments with that order number.
Search by IBM Part
- Enter a complete IBM part number in the IBM Part field and select Searchor press Enter.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that part number.
Search by Model
- Enter a complete model number in the Model field and select Searchor press Enter.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that Model number.
Search by Machine Type
- Enter a complete model number in the Machine Type field and select Search.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that machine type number.
Search by Carrier Pro
- Enter a complete carrier pro number in the Carrier Pro field and select Searchor press Enter.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that carrier pro number.
Search by Serial Number
- Enter a complete serial number in the Serial field and select Search.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that serial number.
Search by Purchase Order Number
This functionality is currently not being used.
Search by IBM Customer Number
- Enter a complete IBM customer number in the IBM Customer field.
- Enter a from and to date in the Shipment Date fields (this is required).
- Select Search.
The Shipment window opens with all items for that IBM Customer number and date selection.
