We’re looking for a well-connected, dynamic, experienced and proactive Business Director who has a wealth of experience in the preparation and submission of effective tenders, successfully developing funding proposals, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring effective governance. Cloverleaf Advocacy is a highly successful charity providing independent advocacy to vulnerable adults, across the Yorkshire and Humberside area. The role
Responsible directly to the CEO, the post-holder will take overall responsibility for the business operations of the organisation, providing strategic and operational direction for Cloverleaf’s Head Office functions.
The post-holder will ensure that the organisation is prepared to deal with the challenges of providing effective and efficient services that maximise our impact in helping people to have a voice, speak up for themselves and be heard.
The post holder will be located in Dewsbury (although the role will require travel across the North of England) with the option of home working with a requirement to be present in the Dewsbury office a minimum of 2 days per week.
About you
You’ll be an experienced leader with graduate status, can demonstrate record of achievement at a senior level in a charitable, social enterprise, CIC or public sector organisation.
You’ll have experience of the preparation and submission of effective tenders and successfully developing funding proposals, hold effective relationship building skills particularly with all elements of contract management with commissioners, clients and customers.
In addition, you will have strong business management and financial skills evidenced through successful business planning and income generation, ability to lead and support organisational growth, have excellent numerical, analytical and strategic skills with the ability to translate strategy into practical and deliverable plans.
