Darren Boivin
Trail Master - North / Darren reports that the Spencer Bridge project is currently on hold due to funding. The cost will be split three ways; ATSC, The Forks Club, Huts & Trails. The ATSC will most likely raise the funds to cover its portion.
Steve StJean
ATSC Vice President /
  • The Business Enterprise Grant has been received, but has not yet been scored. We probably will not receive any feedback on it until July.
  • T.I.F.F. has received our letter of intent, and Steve reports that it looks like our club will be securing $5,000.
  • Jim Allen was unable to attend this meeting due to the passing of his father. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and his family. He plans to attend the FABA meeting this month to coordinate the Polar Blast event with them. The meeting takes place on the last Tuesday of the month, and club members are welcome to attend if they have any ideas/input they would like to contribute. A motion was made and accepted to display fireworks again this year at Polar Blast. Also, the fireworks will be paid for by donations, in lieu of club funds. Items are needed for the Silent Auction, as well as the Club Auction.

John Morris
ATSC President /
  • John reports that the membership applications and sponsor stickers are in.
  • We are waiting on the final artwork for the club sweatshirts, at which time they will be ordered.
  • The Carrabassett Trail bridges are ready to go.
  • The new groomer will be in on January 16th, and the drag for it is currently being built. A demo machine will be used in the meantime.
  • Groomer’s Ball: We would like to make the ball a fundraiser for the club this year, and a decision on the venue for the event will be decided on at the next meeting.
  • Raffle tickets for the club drawing are available at Trails End, Stratton Plaza and the White Wolf. Each ticket costs $100, and only 100 tickets are being sold. First place = $2,500, 2nd place - $1,000 and 3rd place = $500.
  • A good deal of trail work is still needed, and anybody who could lend a hand would be greatly appreciated. Please contact John Morris or Tom Lemont if you would like to help.

Meeting Adjourned / Meeting was motioned to be adjourned @ 5:10pm by all members present. The next meeting will be held January 13thh, 2012, @ 5:00pm, @ The Looney Moose.
