Millennium Circulation –Silver Paging List or Slips

Paging List

NOTE: A Paging List is a list of items being requested from your collection. The list of requests should be printed and filled daily, but this list can be printed and filled more often throughout the day if able. Items are paged in real time.

1.  Select Notices mode from the Navigation tool bar.

2.  Select Item Paging List from the Notice Type drop down menu.


This screen will display when you choose Item Paging List:

NOTE: The system will default to XX Locations Served according to the login used. Please run the list only for your Locations Served.

3.  You can print the list by choosing Prepare Notices button. You may wish to sort the list, if so choose the Sort By button.

4.  To sort the list, select the Insert button. This will insert a line.

5.  Double click inside the input box labeled Type to open the Select dialog box.

6.  Select Item and select OK.

7.  Double click inside the input box labeled Field to open the Select dialog box. Select one of the Data Fields you want to sort by. For example, if you wish to sort the list by shelving location code, select the box labeled Location then select the OK button.

8.  To sort by more than one field, select the Append button, and a blank line will be added below the first line. Repeat steps 5-7 choosing a different field as your second sort option.

9.  Select the Save button.

10.  Select the Prepare Notices button.

The following message will display:

11.  Select OK.

12.  Select the Send to email address option.

13.  Enter your full email address and select OK.

14.  Your list will be displayed to print, select Send Notices button.

15.  Select OK.

16.  Select Yes or No to Clear the notices.

·  Select No for no if the Paging List has not been printed or emailed successfully. Selecting no will keep the Paging Slip from being deleted.

·  Select Yes for yes if the Paging List has been printed or emailed successfully, selecting yes will delete the Paging List.

NOTE: If you choose No, the same items will appear on your list the next time it is run.

NOTE: To see patron information display you must select Paging Slips.

1. Select Item Paging List from the Notice Type drop down menu.

2. Follow steps 3-16 above to print your slips. You will get approximately 2 slips per page if you print the slips.
