Duties: Conducted a study that evaluates correlations between the Mexia State Supported Living Center adolescent patient population’s diagnoses, prescribed psychotropic medication, and targeted maladaptive behaviors in their treatment plans.

Duties: A member of a research team that has collected psychological assessment data from over 600 psychiatric patients at Ben Taub Hospital. The team is conducting several studies, including comparative studies of the neuropsychological instruments across psychiatric populations.

Duties: The principal investigator of a project entitled, “Sexual Victimization Among HBCU Undergraduate Students and Its Relationship to Suicidal Ideation and Behavior.” This study is an examination of the relationship between suicide ideation and behavior and five types of sexual victimization reported by female college students.
Duties: The principal investigator of a project entitled, “An Exploratory Study of Juvenile Female Offenders.” This study is an examination of data from over 18,000 first time female juvenile offenders in Harris County, TX, for purposes of developing effective crime prevention programs.
