Raefes observatory trip is not listed on TroopTrack and needs to be added.

Travel to this trip is up to the participant

2/9 Troop meeting – There will be a video made during this meeting which will be shown at a future service for recruitment purposes.

Roses for Widows service event – at this time we have 3 trailmen and 4 adults confirmed. We need more Trailmen to participate

Archery event will follow the service project and travel to Cinnamon Creek Ranch is on your own.

2/16 Troop meeting – We will be looking at having a mandatory parent meeting to update parents on troop activities and question and answer session.

We are needing to add a troop secretary (don’t even think about it I just did this for my own benefit), and a service chair. Alex Joseph will service as the temp chair for this position until someone feels lead to take over.

2/23 Woodland at the firehouse event – will be at the Denton main station. Trailmen will get to play on the trucks, observe how rescue tools work and see the rescue boats. A friend of Jeff Tye will also give his testimony during the event.

3-5 Touch a truck event – We will help park cars by directing traffic. We have 5-6 trailmen tentatively signed up for the event.

Mrs. Russell from pack 136 visited with us about a joint hike opportunity. This is a great way for their boys to meet Trailmen and understand more about TLUSA and vice versa. This will be a joint hike for the hawks level Trailmen. It will be like the BSA Cub-O event except it will be pared down and called Tiger-O The event is 2-27 from 10-12 in Krum. The event will end at the Sonic for lunch. We will get back with Mrs. Russell about possible attendees. Parents must attend the event with their boys.

Fundraiser – Ticket available now. We need to sell a minimum of 100 and a max of 400.

We are looking for way to do a self-assessment. Questions will be brought to the leaders for submission on a Survey Monkey style assessment.

Navs/Advs – 2-19 Campout

MRE will be the food of the weekend. Self-cooked.

We will try and have some updated worship songs, Toby Mac, Chris Tomlin, etc.

Skills – Fire Ranger/Rope work/Wood Tools

We are also looking at doing a break out time for the adventurers depending on time and 2 deep requirements.

Assignments – KP Scorpions

Fire Patrol Adventurers

The boys want to look at doing another cycling event this spring/summer.

We also need to look at dividing the Scorpion patrol into two sub patrols

Each patrol has been tasked with coming up with a yell and creating a flag.
