ITINERARY FOR THE CAVALIERS GAME ON DECEMBER 9TH, 2016

*Have Dinner at the school. Food is catered and paid for!!! (Chick Fila and Pizza)

*Have a brief rehearsal and get ready to ROCK THE “Q”

*Board the school busses and leave the Middle School at 5:15 PM

Upon arriving at The “Q” we will unload busses and go on the court to get ready to do our pre-game performance. I am asking that all students make sure they have a lyre and flip folder for their respective instrument. Each student must have the following pieces of music with them:

*Another One Bites the Dust

*We Will Rock You

*Cleveland Rocks

We will be performing these selections on center court during the pre-game part of the game. I would encourage all parents who are coming to arrive around 6:15 to the arena.

After everyone is done performing, students can put their equipment back on the bus and head in to the arena to enjoy the game!! They do not have to, but the option will be made available. Here is the performance attire that I am asking for. Each student will wear CAVS GEAR AND BLUES JEANS. GYM SHOES ARE ENCOURAGED AS WELL!!

Please monitor how much cash your child will be taking, there is no need to have large sums of cash for this game. Also, there are to be no camera phones used on the court. The students have been informed that if a phone is used on the court, it is a strong possibility that it will be taken away. They can take pictures from the stands, but nothing on the court.

When we leave the game I will have all students contact their parents as to what time we will be arriving back at Mayfield Middle School. Finally, I will not allow any child to go home with a family member who is down there to watch the game. Board policy dictates I am responsible for the child to and from the field trip, and it is my job to be responsible for the student. Please remember all school rules, as well as, board policies are in affect for this game!

Finally, If you have any questions regarding this evening please contact me and I will do everything in my power to answer your question in a timely fashion. Also, thank you for making this happen for your child, and thank you for making music education a priority in your child’s lives. GO CAVS!!
