Volunteer Men’s Shed (Horsham) Administrator

Advert

Closing date: Friday 9th March 2018

Requirements: Approx 6-8 hrs per week

Position Type: Voluntary

The Men’s Shed (Horsham) is now in its second full year of operation. We have come a long way so far and we’re planning an exciting future ahead.

The aim of the shed is to provide a friendly, productive and safe space where men can come together and work ‘shoulder to shoulder’ on practical activities. Many of these will benefit the community but equally Men are also welcome to work on their own projects. In addition to the shed itself, the group also encourages social activities outside of the building.

As the membership has grown so have the requirements for administrative support and we now require somebody dedicated to this role who would like to contribute towards the group’s work.

We are in an enviable position with an established shed facility in the centre of Horsham Town with space for an administrator to work. We will supply all the necessary kit to undertake the role.

We now require an administrator to help support the development of the shed but also its members and trustees. We are looking for an individual who takes prides in providing excellent service and has skills as an administrator.

We are happy to consider this role as a shared function but we are looking for a good level of competence in a variety of IT systems and packages, plus the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as being able to work as part of a team

This role will be inspiring and provide a real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of men locally.
