General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders

  1. Sealed Bids for the sale of the UNIVERSAL LASER ENGRAVING MACHINE,

LASER SYSTEMS XL-9200will be received no later than 2:30 p.m. March 8, 2017 in the Business Office, at which time they will be opened. The bid for the sale of the UNIVERSAL LASER ENGRAVING MACHINE, LASER SYSTEMS XL-9200 will be accepted at the SUN Area Technical Institute’s Joint Operating Committee meeting heldMarch 16, 2017.

  1. The successful bidder shall arrange and pay for all rigging, freight and transportation charges to move the equipment from SUN Area Technical Institute to its final destination. Pick up shall be made between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on holidays. The successful bidder must have the equipment removed from SUN Area Technical Institute prior to April 7, 2017. SUN Area Technical Institute will not be held liable or responsible for any injuries or losses that might occur due to the removal, operation or ownership of any or all items in this bid.
  1. Prospective bidders may inspect the equipment at the SUN Area Technical Institute between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment to view the machines or to ask any questions, please call Ron Mapes at 570-217-6025.
  1. The SUN Area Technical Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the school.

DESCRIPTION

The laser is designed for laser cutting and engraving of wood, plastic, leather, rubber, etc. Machine is capable of marking steel and stainless steel.
