HSCG38-10-D-S00007 / USCG Aviation Logistics Center / 3 / 12/2009 / $12.2 Million / 3.4, 3.5, 3.17 / Wire Harness Facility Contract: DLS manufactured wire harnesses across all USCG aircraft product lines in our ISO compliant facility within minutes of the USCG Aviation Logistics Center. We completed 123 work orders, delivering more than 2500 government accepted harnesses with no delays to aircraft undergoing programmed depot maintenance.
Our past performance includes manufacture of MH-60T CAAS and MH-65D AUF harnesses. Our experienced technicians delivered quality harnesses ahead of schedule with 4 spare MH-60T ship sets on the shelf ready for installation. Similarly, we delivered MH-65D Aviation Use of Force (AUF) ship sets ahead of schedule with 5 ship sets on the shelf ready for installation. 100% of our ship sets passed government QA without any needed rework.
We performed wire laser marking, DITMCO continuity testing, and Nomex braiding for each harness we manufactured. We performed Av-DEC sealing on required connectors per government specifications. All manufacturing processes were performed and QA’d in accordance with NAVIR 505 and CGTO-1H-2-9. Our experience includes the development and form-fit-function of prototype harnesses for aircraft redesign. / Mr. Todd Gerick

SP4510-10-D-4001 / DLA Disposition Services / 3 / 03/2010 / $1.0 Million / 3.13 / DRMO Contract: DLS supported the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) at 2 sites for DLA Disposition Services, performing maintenance and repairs of material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, and other hydraulic equipment) owned/managed by DLA and awaiting disposition. DLS was able to convert the hydraulic subsystems on much of the equipment to bio-based vice conventional lubricants. Examples included hydraulic and transmission fluids, grease, oils, and lubricants. In general bio-based material spills do not require a work-intensive clean-up effort and much of it can be hosed down a drain with no negative environmental impact. These efforts were in support of USDA’s BioPreferred initiative. / Mr. Jesus “Tony” Olmo
