Prayer of Invocation/Confession

Our Eternal God, You sent Your Son into the world to save us. This morning, we thank You for Your saving presence in our lives. Thank You for comforting us, challenging us, refreshing us, reviving us and calling us to new and deeper commitments. Please free us from the fears that hinder Your love and work in us and through us. We want to be Your instruments in this world. Help Your church to be a bold, evangelistic and prophetic light in a world that seems so dark. We pray that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done. We worship and adore You. Yes we do! In Jesus' name. Amen.

OFFERTORY PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we affirm that this is Your world and we are tenants here. We acknowledge that life does not consist of just the abundance of possessions. Help us to focus on You, our families and our church. Please accept our tithes, mission gifts and sacrificial offerings as an expression of our love. Use them to bless our fellowship and extend the Kingdom of God. Thank You for Your grace and Your patience towards us. Thank You for the privilege of serving You through the church. We love and we adore You. This is our prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

"Some give freely, yet grow all the richer; others withhold what is due, and only suffer want. A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water."

Proverbs 11:24-25

"Holy Spirit, Fill This House... Fill This Vessel!

Ephesians 5:15-18 (RSV)

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,”

The Twenty-Third Psalm is known and loved by many. In the time of joy, it brings more joy, and in the hours of darkness, it brings comfort. Our Good Shepherd is before us, with us, and behind us.

The Twenty-third Psalm suggests that our God surrounds us. We can believe that with all of our heart, soul and mind. There is never a time that God is not there. God sees. God knows. God cares.
