JUDGE’S PROFILES

Michael L Vines (Parvodene) Breed Classes

I first started judging in 1953, whilst in the Army in Singapore.

I have worked, trained, shown and judge most of the breeds in the Working and Pastoral Groups including a few in the Gundog Group and in the Utility Group. At the present time I’m a fulltime dog trainer and I’m also the show manager and a committee member for six different clubs and breeds. I’m also committed to help run three general canine.

I am a KC field officer for the South Birmingham Area, a K.C. Accredited Trainer for Obedience and actively promote the K.C.Good Citizen’s tests. There is more but I’ll keep this short. To date I’ve judged all the breeds at Open show level, plus the Groups. I’ve also been passed and judged the Pastoral group at Championship show level, several times so far.

Jackie Archer (Norvajac) Special Award Classes

My late husband, Alan and I purchased our first Polish Lowland Sheepdog in 1994, having owned and exhibited German Shepherds and Bearded Collies.

I have shown Polish Lowland Sheepdogs since 1995 and bred 6 litters. I first started to judge was in1998 and have attended Polish Lowland Sheepdog seminars and more recently ‘The Requirements of a Dog Show judge’ (KC). I am looking forward to judging the Specials Award classes.
