- The checklist must be completed BEFORE reporting to graduation rehearsal on May 16th.
- The checklist will be turned in at the start of rehearsal!
- All items and participation in rehearsal are required to walk in the graduation ceremony.
- Graduation Rehearsal is required for participation in graduation ceremony.
Graduation Ceremony Dress Code
- No items on the outside of your cap or gown .
- No tennis shoes, flip flops, or sandals – Dark Dress Shoes only!
- Gentlemen
- Dark Slacks or Dress Khakis (no Cargo Pants)

- Dress or Skirt (cannot show below graduation gown)
- The neckline must not be visible above the gown neckline

Graduation Tickets
- Each graduate will be given 11 tickets for seating inside the auditorium.
- Please return any tickets you are not using to the ECHS Office.
- If your family will need more than 11 tickets, please email Ms. Lovett with the following information:
- Graduate’s Name
- Number of extra tickets (above 11)
- Any remaining tickets will be handed out to families who have requested them through a lottery procedure.
Overflow Seating
- We will offer a local streaming of the graduation ceremony in the Cafeteria at Cox Mill.
- Guests without tickets who arrive at graduation will be directed to the cafeteria to watch the ceremony.

Tickets will be handed out on May 14th when Seniors report to campus for final checklist items.
ADDENDUM
Graduation Tickets
Each senior MUST complete a request for graduation tickets (form attached).
All ticket orders will be due April 25th.
- Any requests of 11 or under will automatically be granted.
- For ticket requests over 11, 11 tickets will be issued automatically, and any extra tickets will be issued through a lottery process.
- Overflow seating will be provided if we are not able to fulfill all ticket requests.
Tickets will be given to students on April 28th
The lottery selection and additional tickets will be handed out after April 28th.
ADDITIONS TO CHECKLIST
Please get your senior checklist signed when you turn in your graduation ticket order!
PARKING INFORMATION – GRADUATION CEREMONY
Graduates – park in the BUS PARKING LOT (Enter campus at faculty entrance, drive straight to bus parking lot. (past the faculty lot, at the back of the building)
Guests – park in Student Lot, Visitors Lot, and Faculty Lot
SECURITY – GRADUATION CEREMONY
Cabarrus County Sherriff’s Office will provide security for the ceremony.
Everyone attending the graduation ceremonies will go through metal detection.
All banned items (see below) will be confiscated at the front entrance prior to entering Cox Mill High School. Guests may retrieve their items at the same table in front of the entrance to Cox Mill High School at the conclusion of the ceremony.

- Flowers
- Weapons or items that may be used as weapons
- Lighters
- Alcohol, tobacco, or other substances/paraphernalia banned from school campuses
VIDEO – GRADUATION CEREMONY
A video of the CKECHS Graduation Ceremony will be available by 12PM (Noon) on Monday, May 19th. The link will be posted on the Cabarrus County Schools Website.
