If this is for a grave specific you must complete a separate form for each Veteran sponsored. If no grave specific is requested, and this is for ‘any Veterans’ grave, a form does not need to be filled out. Just send the check to address below made out to WAA.

**Please note that you are ‘sponsoring’ (not purchasing, your donation is tax deductible) wreaths to be placed on “ANY VETERANS” grave. However if you need a grave specific we will try our best to make it happen. We are volunteers & have to rely on other volunteers to place the wreaths. If at all possible you should try to attend to place the wreath yourself.

General Information
The ceremony is held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
At 11am CST - DEC. 16TH 2017
WE DO NOT RESCHEDULE DATE OR TIME
All ages are welcome to attend. The Mission of WAA is to Remember, Honor & Teach.
ANYONE can sponsor a wreath to be placed on ANY Veterans grave. We want to Honor all who have served. So please help! $15.00 to sponsor & WAA will donate back $5. For every wreath that comes through us to Operation Care Package.
Wreaths can be sponsored year round. Anything that comes in to us later than Nov. 30th 2017 will go towards the next year’s wreaths.
Please for grave specific I must have in early. Preferably no later than Nov. 21st 2017

To ensure it goes to correct cemetery.

If you sponsored a ‘GRAVE SPECIFIC’ and you plan on attending, you will pick up your completed form that you mailed in at the section your Veteran is buried in following the ceremony. If you sponsored multiple grave specific they will be at the tent.
A free luncheon is held at Stone City VFW following the ceremony.

Our goal & mission: To one day have a wreath for every Veterans grave at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, which is located at 20953 West Hoff Road. Elwood, IL. 60421
Dec 17th 2016 over: 15,700 Wreaths were placed by volunteers. Dec 16th 2017 there will be approximately 50,000 Veterans buried at ALNC. We are a long way from our goal.
