Dear Friends:
Join us for Gehlen & Spalding Catholic’s Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 22, in LeMars.
Please read and follow these important parade line-up requirements:
· You must provide your own vehicle for your parade entry.
· Line-up begins at 1:15 p.m. Refer to the enclosed map for your "spot" in the line-up.
· Tape the parade entry number in the lower part of the vehicle window, driver's side.
· School representatives wearing orange vests must check you in to your designated location (see map for where to check in) and can help you with other needs or concerns.
· Parade entries need to be in place no later than 1:35 p.m. to ensure a 1:45 p.m. start.
· Parade entry drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have graduated from high school.
· To ensure compliance with the LeMars Area Chamber Policy, candy/gifts/etc.:
1. Must be handed out--NOT THROWN--for the safety of all in attendance
2. Helpers may walk along each side of their parade entry in order to distribute candy/gifts/etc.
It is imperative that this letter and all of the enclosed information be given to the person in charge of your parade entry. To ensure timely notification, return the bottom of this form via mail, fax, or email by Thursday, September 7 to:

If you fail to return the bottom of this form by September 7, we cannot guarantee your line-up position or a map of where you will be placed, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. We look forward to having you in our Homecoming Celebration!
