Or you can have any device that plays music and have the lyrics written on a board or give out song sheets
Facilities required/environment / If you are using a device that needs internet then somewhere with internet access, probably best in a room in order to use electricity but can be done outside if you’re using a portable already charged device
Precautions / People need to be able to read, if their vision is not great they may want a bigger font size for the lyrics, also you may want to play songs appropriate for the age group and demographic you’re working with, smaller words for younger children…

Task Analysis Sequence/Directions

1. Turn on you electronic device.

2. Click on the web browser icon you wish to use to access the internet.

3. Go to youtube.com (or if you know of any other similar website that plays songs with lyrics)

4. Type in the song title of your choice and the words “with lyrics” after

5. Click on the link to the video you wish to use (you will want to know a couple before you start the activity in front of people) *It is important to view any video before sharing with your group so that you can assess the reading challenge (as you stated above), how quickly the words appear across the screen, how long the song is, how high or low the notes are (you want to pick something that everyone can sing along to..)

6. Press play once the video is loaded and turn the volume up so everyone in the room can hear at a comfortable level.

7. When the words come up on the screen, try your best to sing the words as they appear to the beat of the music

8. Once you have mastered step 7 you can even try to add your own dance movements to it.

9. Repeat steps 4-7 until you no longer want to do the activity.

10. You can have people take turns and choose their own song or have everyone sing together as a group.
