Event Rules:

All school rules outlined in the Chino Hills High School Student Handbook 2015-2016 apply to both the CHHS student and his/her guest. Students must be in good standing with CHHS Administration to attend this activity. Expectations and consequences are the same at a dance as they are during the normal school day. All students must provide a current school issued ID and guests must provide the same identification used for the guest application. Students will not be admitted after 9:30pm.

***All students are subject to a random breathalyzer test.

The Board of Education authorizes school trained administrators and school resource officers to use a device which measures the alcohol content of a student’s breath whenever, in the judgment of school officials, there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the student is under the influence of alcohol. (BP 5131.61)

Dancing Rules:

Dance movements and mannerisms must reflect the standards of modesty and “good taste.” Dance movements, commonly know as “Freak Dancing” or “Grinding,” which depict or suggest private, sexual acts are a distraction or bothersome to others and deemed totally inappropriate and unacceptable. This includes front to back dancing. Physically dangerous dancing or movements, such as “slamming” or “moshing” are not allowed.

Dress Code:

 Undergarments must be covered by outerwear.

 Stomach, midriff, and lower back must be covered.

 See-through material is not allowed, unless appropriate garment is underneath.

 Dresses MUST NOT be higher than mid-thigh.

 Extremely tight or extremely low-cut garments are unacceptable.

 Clothing that advocates drug or alcohol use, illegal activity or violence, sexual messages, profanity or vulgarity, or is gang-related, is not permitted.

Consequences:

·  If behavior/dancing is inappropriate students will be removed from the dance floor.

·  Once the students enter the dance they will not be allowed back in if they choose to leave.

·  Violations of the behavior or dress code guidelines will result in removal from the activity. No refund will be given. Parents will be notified and expected to pick up the offender.

·  All students need to check into the dance no later than 9:00 pm. Students will not be allowed to leave the dance before 10pm.

The following items will not be allowed at SADIES. They will be taken away and not returned:

Alcohol / Flasks - Gum - Glow in the Dark Items - Pens & Pencils - Sharp Objects Markers - All Tobacco Products - Lighters/Matches - Water Bottles – Weapons - Any Illegal Substance - Wallet Chains - Canes & Zoot Chains - Liquid Items - Mouthwash - Glass Bottle (Including Perfume) - Eye Drops (Test or Toss) - Medication (It will be returned) Every student attending the dance will be searched upon arrival. Breathalyzers will be on site.

By signing below, I understand that I am responsible for my conduct and any consequences for my misbehavior during Chino Hills High School dances.
