WRITTEN AGREEMENT
Regular tuition payments are essential for operating the school. Tuition payments must be kept current for children to continue in attendance at the school. All families must pay one month’s tuition at time of registrationto retain their child’s place in our program. This payment is non-refundable and will be fulfill the May 2018 tuition payment. Remaining tuition payments will be required by the first of each month from September through April. A total of 9 payments are required. A $10.00 late fee is charged if we do not receive your payment by the 10th of the month in which it is due. If your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, our bank, BB&T, will electronically debit your account for the amount of the check plus a $30.00 processing fee. All accounts must be cleared by May 1 or students will not be given their final progress report or promotion certificate. All records will be held until accounts are cleared.
Tuition for the 2016/2017 school year will be:
- 2 day 2 year olds - $155 per month -Thursday-Friday from 9 - 11:30.
- 2 day 3 year olds - $170 per month -Tuesday-Thursday from 9-12.
- 3 day 3 year olds - $190 per month - Monday-Wednesday, 9 - 12.
- 4 day 4 year olds - $220 per month- Monday-Thursday, 9 - 12.
- 5 day 4 year olds - $240 per month- Monday-Friday 9 - 12
At Crossroads Christian Preschool we utilize parent/family volunteers. A volunteer is someone who is willing to work in and out of the classroom with the staff and children.
The word “discipline” stems from “disciple.” A disciple is one who identifies with his leader and who tries to follow in his footsteps. The leaders in a child’s world are his parents and teachers.
The Bible exhorts parents and teachers to lovingly discipline those children in their care.
Prevention is the best form of discipline. We make every effort to catch each child doing well, and affirm them. When it is necessary to discipline, we will strive to do so in a loving spirit.
The teachers and staff will strive to anticipate and avoid trouble. We will investigate the cause and open the doors of understanding through communication.
The following general principles will apply to classroom and school disciplinary procedures:
1.Children will be made aware of classroom rules in a positive manner.
2.Corporal punishment will not be administered.
3.Staff will be consistent, firm and fair.
LEVELS OF DISCIPLINE
1.Verbal communication between teacher and child, and redirection if necessary.
2.“Renewal Time” – the child will be removed gently from the group and given time to renew their feelings and cool down.
3.Communication between teacher and parent.
4.Communication between teacher, parent and director.
