One addition coming to Midweek
A single change is coming to the Random Lengths price guides in late March. In the Midweek Report, the Portland-rate price for green Douglas Fir #2&Btr 2x4 will be added, along with a price for this item delivered to the Northeast. The additions will be effective with the March 31 issue. The Std&Btr 2x4 price will be retained both in Midweek and in Random Lengths. No changes are planned for the weekly lumber or panel price guides.

IMPORTANT NOTICE for Random Lengths Midweek, Lumber, Panel EMS (Electronic Media Services) database and spreadsheet subscribers.
Price guide changes will take effect Tuesday, March 31, 2015, for Midweek, and Friday, April 3, 2015, for Lumber and Panel.
An article about the upcoming Price Guide changes that appeared in Random Lengths March 6, 2015 is above, and in the attached Word doc. If you have any questions, please let us know. Attached to this e-mail message is:
-- Price_Guide_Change_Information.doc, a Word doc with the price guide change information, including new and retired tags.
-- Tags-Before-After.xls, a spreadsheet which will show the before and after changes that we are making
-- RL_Tags.xls, the revised Price Item Code Key (spreadsheet format) that contains label names in place of prices, in the same position they appear in the publication
-- RL_Tags.pdf, the revised Price Item Code Key (PDF format) that contains label names in place of prices, in the same position they appear in the publication
FOR DATABASE SUBSCRIBERS:
The new Lumber Description file Lbr_desc.csv, the new Panel Description file Pnl_desc.csv are attached. Midweek items are referenced in the Lumber and Panel Description files. These cross-reference tables contain complete text and key-word descriptions for all price guide labels.
