Helping out Fire Artists World Cup in the medieval Tallinn
Project
Fire Artist’s Association was founded to raise awareness of Fire Arts and to show that they can be much more then primitive street arts. Association also promotes good standards of Fire safety for Fire artists cooperating closely with local rescue department. One of the largest projects is organizing Fire Artist’s competitions, which started off as a small event for local artists but quickly became the international one. Now every year the International Fire Artist’s Competition takes place in Tallinn, and in coming year 2016 for the first time this event will become the Fire Artists World Cup!The event is organized and hosted in Tallinn by Fire Artists Association, which is a small community not having enough people to be able to get everything done for the event that is growing so fast. This is why international volunteers are invited to help it out. This year the Festival will be held on the grounds of Loomelinnak - “Creative City” in the territory of old factory that is nowadays blooming as an alternative artistic life center of Tallinn, Estonian capital.Come to give your hand and learn everything about Fire and Fire Arts!
Work
The event area is quite big, and there is a lot of preparation work to be done there. You will be involved in preparing the technical side of the event but also communicating with people, so expect anything from decorating the rooms, carrying the necessary equipment to the area to meeting and welcoming guests, showing directions and so on.
Accommodation
Volunteers will live in a local dance studio, where they will share a big room for living. Please bring a sleeping bag. Toilet and showeris available. Volunteers will have simple breakfast prepared by themselves, lunch and dinner will be provided by organizes elsewhere.
Location
Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. You can get a lot of information on Tallinn on and The Creative City as well as the accommodation is situated near to the centre of Tallinn within walking distance (15 min) to mediaeval Old Town with museums, pubs, nightlife, etc.

Special requirements
You do not have to be professional but you have to be open, creative, be quick on your feet,be able to find solutions on the spot, etc.Camp language is English.Please bring sleeping bag.
Leisure time
On site volunteers will have a great chance to get acquainted with the work of local artists and performers from abroad. You are welcome to take part in workshops that will be held during the two days of the main event. You will learn a lot about Fire and Fire safety having a Fire safety training as well. You will be able to see the artists rehearsing and performing at the studio where you will live. Andthere are a lot of other possibilities for leisure time activities since camp takes place in Tallinn where one can find attractions for all tastes: sightseeing and museums, festivals, concerts, live music, pubs, etc.
Participation fee
Since neither EstYESnor its camp partner,Fire Artist’s Association,does not receive financial support for this camp from municipality or from private sources we have to ask participants an extra fee of 100 Euroto cover accommodation, food and local transportation costs.The fee has to be paid by volunteers either upon arrival to the camp or by bank transfer in advance.
