Manufacturing Engineer
We seek an outgoing, broadly talented and energetic professional with a “can-do” attitude for our Manufacturing Engineer. This individual must be able to develop an in depth understanding of our custom engineered products and apply best manufacturing practices and mistake proofing concepts. Demonstrated success in this position provides the candidate an opportunity to advance within the company, sister companies or our parent corporation, Transdigm Group, Inc.
ADS/Transicoil (www.adstcoil.com) is a very successful aerospace manufacturer of high quality, custom engineered products used in the cockpit and airframe of commercial airliners, regional airliners, helicopters, military transport aircraft and fighter aircraft. Our product portfolio is approximately half commercial and half military and we are the exclusive supplier of most of the products we manufacture. The company is headquartered in Collegeville, PA with a wholly owned satellite facility in Melaka, Malaysia.

The person we seek is currently in an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering position, has aspirations to move into progressively higher level positions, holds an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline and has or is interested in pursuing an advanced degree.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, and possess a background or demonstrated ability to analyze, plan, lead and execute improvements in a manufacturing environment. Requirements for this position include the following:
Ø Three to five years experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering role
Ø Strong organizational and project management skills
Ø Strong strategic and tactical planning and execution skills
Ø Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ø Experience in lean enterprise and continuous improvement
Ø Experience with Material Resource Planning
Ø Strong understanding of business fundamentals including basic finance
Ø Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
