Health Careers Summer Camp 2017
Austin - June 12th – 16th
Each year the Texas Area Health Education Center (AHEC) East – Capital Region offers high school students the opportunity to participate in a five day summer camp devoted to educating participants about the different careers in healthcare. During camp, students are exposed to various careers in healthcare and taught what they need to do to start preparing for their future. This year’s camp will be held during the day so students will need transportation to and from camp. The total cost of camp is $50 and includes all meals and activities.
To register for the 2017 Health Careers Summer Camp, complete the form below and return it to Texas AHEC East – Capital Region by March 31st. Once you are selected to attend camp you will be asked to submit your payment of $50. Remember space is limited so register TODAY!

Eligibility
· High school student completing 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade
· Must be 16 years old as of June 1, 2017
· Attend all five days of camp
· Must have transportation to and from camp each day
· Submit your application by March 31, 2017
· Have a sincere desire to pursue a career in healthcare

A selection committee will review applications and students selected to participate will receive a detailed camp packet and payment instructions by April 15th.
