The following options are available if you are unable to collect in person:
  1. Send a representative with a signed note from you to authorise collection. They will need to provide a photo ID.
  2. Hand into Exams Office before 19th July, a large (C4) size envelope. Please include your full name, tutor group, candidate number and full postal address. Remember too you will need a stamp marked LARGE.

Year 13 Veterinary Medicine Taster Day, Wednesday 18th September 2013 - St John's College, University of Cambridge / St John’s College, Cambridge are holding a taster day for students interested in studying Veterinary Medicine at University. See below for a sample programme.

This taster day is aimed at academically able students who have the potential to make a competitive application to Cambridge University. The event is open to individuals at UK state-maintained schools, colleges and academies (no more than 3 students per school or college).
Limited accommodation is available overnight on Tuesday 17th September 2013 and will be allocated to those who live furthest from Cambridge.
Booking closes on Friday 23rd August 2013.

FROM ADVIZA (Formally ”Connexions”) at SBS / Angela Walker, a Careers Adviser from Adviza, is available for drop- in sessions every Tuesday, at 1st and 2nd lunch break, (in the meeting room in the English corridor at SBS), to offer information and advice regarding; careers, courses, apprenticeships, etc.
Year 12 Scientia Residential Event

This event is for current year 12 students, who will be going into year 13 in September. The two days will includenumber of lectures, workshops and social events. Students, who must be studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, will be able to experience real-life applications of their subjects in a variety of interactive workshops.From discovering the mathematics behind magic tricks and test driving racing karts, to creating computer games and building medieval siege machines, students will be encouraged to develop their problem solving and team working skills.

The role would work within the accounts department and would include the following tasks:
·All aspects of sales ledger invoicing
·Listing, posting & allocating sales ledger payments
·Credit checking all orders before they are passed for processing
·Credit control tasks by telephone and letter to chase overdue accounts

Junior Credit Controller & Accounts Support Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident & organised person to join our team as a full time junior credit controller based in our offices in Abingdon.

The role would work within the accounts department and would include the following tasks:

  • All aspects of sales ledger invoicing
  • Listing, posting & allocating sales ledger payments
  • Credit checking all orders before they are passed for processing
  • Credit control tasks by telephone and letter to chase overdue accounts

There will be some general administration duties and providing further assistance within the accounts team as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

Good communication skills both written & spoken

Computer literate (all training on specific accounts systems will be provided)

Ability to prioritise tasks & use own initiative

Attention to detail

Flexible approach to work

No experience necessary, we will provide full training but an aptitude for number would be an advantage
